SEAPLANE :
All scheduled timings are solely at the discretion of the management of the service provider, thus waiting time may vary and are out of the control of Mövenpick Resort Kuredhivaru Maldives.

Luggage allowance of 20 kgs per person and 5 kgs hand luggage (one bag), any amount over this will be charged an additional USD 5.8 per kg and may be subject to delivery delay. Baggage items that weigh more than 32 kgs will not be permitted on board unless repacked in lighter luggage. Price and weight restrictions are subject to change at the discretion of service provider.

In a rare event that the seaplane reaches full weight limit due to excess luggage or other reasons, guest luggage may come ona later flight and as such, we recommended that guests pack their hand luggage with essentials including a casual tropical attire, swimwear, etc. to be comfortable until their luggage arrives. To arrange transfers, please inform the resort at least 5 days in advance and provide the complete name of the guest(s) travelling along with the gender and age of the children, if any, and the arrival and departure details.
Last minute (72 hours or less prior arrival/departure) cancellation or no-show is subject to extra charge of 60% of the return airfare stated above per person including children.
Private seaplane transfer can be arranged on request. Rates and availability are subject to change and therefore need to be reconfirmed.
Seaplanes are operational only in daylight hours as per Maldives aviation rules.
For your arrival, seaplane transfer can be arranged for international flights arriving in Maldives between 6.00 am - 3.30 pm.
For guests unable to connect to a Seaplane on the same day would be required to book accommodation in Male’ or a nearby at own cost. Seaplane transfer will be arranged for the guests on the next day and any payment made for previous night will be charged as guarantee for Early Check-In.
 For departures, seaplane transfers can be arranged for international flights departing Maldives from 9.00 am onwards. Guest departing on an international flight prior to 9.00 am, will be transferred in the previous afternoon. Accommodation can be booked in Male’ or a nearby at own cost.
 Return transfers will be automatically booked at the time of reservation unless otherwise stated in the request. Shared seaplane transfers may be combined with guests from nearby resorts and may have possible stops en route (one or multiple stops) before arriving at the resort. Departure timings are scheduled by TMA and are subject to change.

The waiting time at the TMA VIP Lounge is approximately 3 hours from the time of check-in for the seaplane transfer depending on the international flight schedule. There may be further delays or cancellation due to inclement weather conditions or seaplane maintenance requirements.
The resort will not be responsible for the additional charges in the event of delays or
cancellation due to force majeure, weather conditions or maintenance requirements. In this case, guests would be required to book accommodation in Male’ or a nearby at own cost.
Prices are subject to increase in the event new taxes being introduced or if a fuel surcharge levied.
