Itinerary:

Day 1
You will arrive at Paro International Airport. After a breathtaking landing, we will experience the history, culture and flavors of Paro valley through a visit to the National Museum of Bhutan and a home cooked meal at a heritage home by a local chef before making our way to the neighboring Thimphu valley which houses Bhutan's capital city of Thimphu.

Day 2 
We will enjoy the scenic views through outdoor experiences like visiting the Buddha Dordenma statue (height of 51.5 m), hiking a local trail and witnessing a traditional archery match. We will then enjoy a picnic lunch before visiting the postal museum of Bhutan, The Zorig Chusum (School of the 13 Traditional Arts) and the folk heritage museum. 

Day 3 
We will make our way to the warm valleys of Punakha driving through and stopping at one of the highest mountain passes in Bhutan (Dochula) which offers a panoramic view of the Himalayas. Experience a relaxing rest of the day walking through paddy fields, have lunch with the local monks and visit the historical Punakha Dzong. Spend the evening at a local farm home where you can enjoy fresh local delicacies prepared by one of our 5 local chefs. 

Day 4 
We will enjoy a riverside picnic after hiking to the Khamsum Yuelley Monastery. Then we will spend the rest of the day experiencing life in Phobjika valley at a farm home. 

Day 5 
We will start our day at the Black Necked Crane Visitor's Center, after which we will get to meet two blacked necked cranes, Karma and Pema, who are permanent residents at the center. Then we will visit Gangtay Monastery and hike the Gangtay trail, after which we will enjoy a picnic lunch at the Khewang Monastery followed by a traditional hot stone bath.

Day 6 
We will transfer to Trongsa and visit the Trongsa Dzong (fortress) which is the largest Dzong in Bhutan and offers a panoramic view of life in the valley. 

Day 7 
We will transfer to Bumthang and visit the Yathra (Yak Wool) Weaving Center in Chumey Valley. Then we will visit the Jakar Dzong and Cheese & Honey factory before enjoying a traditional meal at a local farm stay. 

Day 8 
We will fly to Paro for a traditional medicine consultation and treatment at the Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary, a 5-star establishment. 

Day 9 
We will hike to the famous Tiger's Nest Monastery and enter the sacred cave located there. After some spiritual cleansing and a moderately difficult hike, we will enjoy a mountainside picnic lunch followed by a private cooking lesson at the Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary.  

Day 10 
The tour will conclude.
