Koh Ker & Beng Mealea Tour - Private

  Siem Reap

8:30am

We depart from your hotel with private transportation for a full day excursion to explore two of Cambodia’s more remote temples. Koh Ker and Beng Mealea are located approximately 120kms from Siem Reap city.

Our first stop is Koh Ker temple. This 7-tier-pyramid temple was once known as Chok Gargyar and was once the Khmer capital. It is a mysterious and remote archaeological site, which you will be able to explore without the crowds. Over 30 structures are within the ruins of the sacred building and it is possible and worthwhile climbing to the summit to take in the rewarding views.

We stop for a short for your own lunch break and enjoy a your delicious meal.

Our next stop is Beng Mealea, which means ‘Lotus Pond’ and its amazing ruins and underground passageways offer a unique experience for visitors to get lost in time. In its chaotic state, with collapsed galleries and towers, covered with a spread of vegetation there is something mysterious and enchanting about Beng Mealea. There are some superb examples of Apsara carvings on the extant parts of the temple, but the real charm of Beng Melea is its sense of ruined grandeur.

4:00pm

After a full day of exploration we return back to Siem Reap city and return to your hotel.
