Our suites are made of the Finnish quality wood and designed by Finnish designer. Our “Nova” restaurant meals are prepared with local ingredients, such as salmon, reindeer, bear, etc. In winter-time, we have a wide selection of activities like husky and reindeer rides for you to adventure in real Lapland. In sum- mertime, you could pick your own blueberries from your room terrace.

We serve Lappish food with modern twist. We want to surprise you with flavour combinations you cannot taste anywhere else. Our skillful chefs can transform the dishes into tasty combinations to make them suitable for special diets or enjoyable for chil- dren. The recipes are planned by Jari Ruonakoski – Maître Rôtisseur Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. Our restaurant can seat over hundred people, and it is a perfect place for a party or a meeting.
Spring
The ice on the rivers Ounasjoki and Kemijoki start to melt. Days are getting longer and longer. This season marks the annual rebirth of nature. Flowers and plants show signs of life again, reindeer start calving. All life starts to revive after being buried under snow for months.
Summer
Warm spells, where temperatures reach 25 degrees, plenty of summer activities and festive events start. In Rovaniemi, the Midnight Sun shines from early June until early July, but nights are white from late May until early August. During this quite long daytime, everyone has endless energy to spend.
Autumn
This season is for harvest. Crops, namely berries and wild mushrooms all ready to be picked up. Forest starts to change cloth to yellow, nights start getting darker in mid-August, and the Northern Lights season begins. This time is perfect for out- door activities, especially hiking and trekking.
Winter
The darkness of the Polar Night has approached upon Rovaniemi, but the snow and Christmas lights brighten the cities and villages. A crowd of visitors from all over the world, come to meet Rovaniemi’s most famous citizen, Santa Claus. The shortest day of the year is December 21st or 22nd. On this day, the sun doesn’t rise at all in Rovaniemi.
